Aims and Scope

The Advances in Basic and Applied Sciences (ABAS) Journal publishes articles in natural and physical sciences. The journal aims to make significant contributions to applied research and knowledge across the globe through the publication of original, high-quality research articles in all fields of basic sciences. The journal covers the following disciplines:

  • Physical Sciences include pure and applied mathematics, statistics, computer sciences physics, chemistry, biophysics, and astronomy.
  • Biological Sciences include animal and plant sciences, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, and biochemistry.
  • Geology and Environmental Sciences.

The articles will be evaluated on the basis of the new insight they present into the investigated topics and how they are likely to contribute to research progress and add new knowledge to science.

In addition to original research articles, Advances in Basic and Applied Sciences publishes reviews, mini-reviews, case reports, letters to the editor, and commentaries, thereby providing a forum for reports and discussions on recent perspectives in basic sciences. The journal is committed to publishing articles via rapid, impartial, and rigorous reviewing and editorial processes. Once accepted, articles are granted free online access immediately. The journal articles published every six months will be given page numbers and published as one volume.
